Islamabad (IN):Prospects for enhancing bilateral cooperation in education, science, and academic exchange between Turkmenistan and Pakistan were discussed during a high-level meeting in Islamabad.
The meeting took place between Turkmenistan’s Ambassador, A. Movlamov, and Chairman of Pakistan’s Higher Education Commission (HEC), Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar. Both sides emphasized the vast potential for strengthening collaboration across multiple sectors, particularly in higher education, scientific research, and human resource development.
Discussions highlighted the importance of expanding academic partnerships between universities, increasing the exchange of students and scholars, and promoting joint research initiatives. The growing role of academic mobility and knowledge-sharing was also underscored as a key pillar of bilateral relations.At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to sustained dialogue and the implementation of mutually beneficial projects aimed at deepening educational, scientific, and cultural ties between Turkmenistan and Pakistan.
