Pakistan–Middle East Flight Disruptions Continue: 122 Flights Cancelled Across Major Airports

Pakistan’s aviation authorities reported that 122 flights scheduled between Pakistan and several Middle Eastern destinations were cancelled on Saturday, disrupting travel plans for passengers at multiple international airports across the country.At Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, 38 flights bound for cities including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Sharjah, Kuwait City, and Manama were cancelled.Similarly, 30 flights to the same regional destinations were called off at Islamabad International Airport.

At Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore, 20 flights to various Middle Eastern cities were cancelled.Meanwhile, 10 flights traveling to Dubai, Sharjah, Doha, and Abu Dhabi were cancelled at Bacha Khan International Airport in Peshawar.Another 10 flights scheduled from Multan International Airport to destinations including Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Bahrain, Doha, and Kuwait were also cancelled. In addition, 10 flights operating between Sialkot International Airport and Dubai were called off.At Faisalabad International Airport, four flights heading to Dubai, Sharjah, and Jeddah were also suspended.The cancellations affected several international and local airlines, including Emirates, Etihad Airways, Air Arabia, Pakistan International Airlines, Airblue, Flydubai, Qatar Airways, and Fly Jinnah.

Officials added that flight disruptions have continued for several days, with more than 900 flights between Pakistan and Middle Eastern countries cancelled over the past eight days, causing significant inconvenience to passengers.
