Karachi: As part of ongoing efforts to promote youth sports and encourage healthy recreational activities, a delegation from Young Muslim Football Ground, Orangi Town West, met with Deputy Commissioner Karachi West, Ali Zulfiqar, at his office.The delegation comprised prominent sports personalities from various disciplines, including Zakir Khan (Football Organizer), Ghulam Nabi (Gold Medalist), Muqaddas (Pakistan Army), Nayab, Ustad Fida Hussain (International Boxing Coach), Adnan Afridi (International Boxer), Ayesha Baloch (Gold Medalist), and Shehzad and Arshad (Cricket).
During the meeting, the participants held detailed discussions on the restoration and development of the Young Muslim Football Ground, Orangi Town West, improving sports facilities for local youth, protecting the ground, and promoting various sports in the area.Deputy Commissioner West Ali Zulfiqar appreciated the delegation’s proposals and assured them of his full support in promoting positive and healthy activities among young people through sports.
The delegation expressed its gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner and voiced optimism that mutual cooperation would help revive the Young Muslim Football Ground and further strengthen sports activities in the area, creating better opportunities for local youth.The delegation also reaffirmed its commitment to encouraging the younger generation to participate in sports and stay away from negative influences by continuing to organize sports events, tournaments, and training programs.
The participants emphasized that sports play a vital role in building a healthy society and noted that stronger collaboration between government institutions and local organizations can further promote a positive sporting culture throughout the community.
