Gujranwala Chamber President Pays Glowing Tribute to Police Martyrs at Youm-e-Shuhada Ceremony

GUJRANWALA: President of the Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), Ali Humayun Butt, paid rich tribute to the martyrs of the police while representing the business community at the Youm-e-Shuhada Police ceremony held at Ashraf Marth Shaheed District Police Lines, Gujranwala.

The solemn event, led by Regional Police Officer (RPO) Khurram Shehzad Haider Warraich, was attended by Commissioner Muhammad Ali, City Police Officer (CPO) Dr. Sardar Ghiyas Gul Khan, Deputy Commissioner Naveed Ahmed, members of the National and Provincial Assemblies, senior civil and police officials, families of police martyrs, lawyers, students, and prominent representatives of the business community.

The ceremony commenced with a visit to the Martyrs’ Memorial, where Ali Humayun Butt, alongside senior civil and police officials, laid a floral wreath, offered Fateha, and honored the brave police personnel who sacrificed their lives for the peace and security of Pakistan.Speaking to the media on the occasion, Ali Humayun Butt said the nation’s police martyrs are its true heroes, adding that their unmatched sacrifices have ensured lasting peace, public security, and uninterrupted economic and commercial activity in Gujranwala.

He emphasized that sustainable industrial and commercial development is only possible in a peaceful environment and reaffirmed that the entire business and industrial community stands firmly with the police force in its efforts to maintain law and order.Concluding his remarks, the GCCI President highly appreciated the dedicated services of RPO Khurram Shehzad Haider Warraich, Commissioner Muhammad Ali, CPO Dr. Sardar Ghiyas Gul Khan, and Deputy Commissioner Naveed Ahmed for their commitment to maintaining peace, promoting development, and ensuring the safety and security of traders and citizens across Gujranwala.
