PPP Leader Abdul Rehman Mirza’s Sixth Death Anniversary to Be Observed on August 29

Islamabad (City Reporter): The sixth death anniversary of Abdul Rehman Mirza, a central leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and a prominent political and social figure from Gujar Khan, will be observed with devotion and respect on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at his residence.Abdul Rehman Mirza passed away on Friday, October 30, 2020. His funeral, held in Rabi-ul-Awwal, was attended by a large number of political, social and community figures. His funeral was regarded as one of the largest in the history of Tehsil Gujar Khan, with people from across the area gathering to pay their final respects.

Throughout his life, Abdul Rehman Mirza remained committed to serving the people, safeguarding public rights and resolving the problems faced by the people of Gujar Khan. He was widely remembered for his political struggle, strong public connections and dedication to the welfare of his community.The family also suffered another major loss earlier that year when Habib Mirza, Abdul Rehman Mirza’s younger brother, passed away on May 28, 2020.
