ISLAMABAD: Ms. Misbah Khar, Advisor to Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani and Ambassador of the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference (ISC), will lead a Pakistani business delegation to Rwanda to participate in the Rwanda–Pakistan Investment Forum, scheduled to be held in Kigali from September 23 to 25, 2026.Ms. Khar made the announcement following a meeting with the Ambassador of Rwanda to Pakistan, during which the two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral economic, trade and investment relations between Pakistan and Rwanda.
The forum is being organized under the auspices of the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) and the Rwanda High Commission in Pakistan and is expected to bring together business leaders, investors and key stakeholders from both countries.During the meeting, Ms. Khar welcomed the invitation to attend the forum and expressed her commitment to promoting greater business-to-business cooperation between Pakistan and Rwanda.She said the initiative would provide Pakistani businesses and investors with an opportunity to explore Rwanda’s growing economic potential, identify new investment avenues and develop partnerships with Rwandan counterparts.
Ms. Khar emphasized that such engagements can play an important role in expanding bilateral trade and investment while strengthening people-to-people and business-to-business linkages between the two countries.The Rwanda–Pakistan Investment Forum will focus on exploring investment opportunities, fostering private-sector partnerships and identifying new avenues for enhanced economic cooperation.Ms. Khar expressed hope that her participation, along with the Pakistani business delegation, would help open new avenues for trade and investment and contribute to further strengthening Pakistan–Rwanda economic and commercial relations.
