On 6 September, we pay our deepest tribute to the Shuhada and Ghazis of Pakistan’s Armed Forces who, with unwavering courage and supreme sacrifice, defended our motherland against aggression and thwarted the enemy’s designs.The events of 6 September 1965 remain a historic symbol of national unity, courage and resilience. The people of Pakistan stood shoulder to shoulder with their Armed Forces, demonstrating that the strength of a nation lies not merely in numbers, but in the determination, unity and spirit of its people.As the Chamber of the Garrison City, the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI) proudly salutes the brave men and women of the Pakistan Army, Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force who have dedicated their lives to defending the sovereignty, security and integrity of Pakistan.
We also pay heartfelt tribute to the families of our Shuhada, whose sacrifices and steadfastness remain a source of immense pride for the nation.We equally honour the brave personnel of our law-enforcement agencies who continue to make the ultimate sacrifice in the fight against terrorism and for the peace and security of our homeland.The responsibility of strengthening Pakistan rests with every citizen. While our Armed Forces safeguard the nation’s territorial frontiers, the business community strengthens its economic frontier through investment, industrial growth, exports, employment generation and contribution to the national exchequer.
