Islamabad: Chairman Higher Education Commission (HEC) Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar held a meeting with the Director of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), along with officials from the Embassy of Türkiye, to discuss avenues for further strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and Türkiye in the fields of higher education, research, academic partnerships, and capacity building.
During the meeting, Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar highlighted the significance of sustained institutional collaboration and knowledge exchange between the two countries. The participants explored opportunities to enhance academic linkages, promote joint research initiatives, and develop capacity-building programmes that can contribute to the advancement of higher education in both countries.
The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of Pakistan and Türkiye to further deepen their longstanding educational and academic ties through expanded institutional partnerships and collaborative initiatives.
