Islamabad: A special Türkiye–Pakistan Friendship Iftar was held in the federal capital, bringing together guests from government institutions, academia and civil society to celebrate the strong ties between the two countries.The event carried added significance as around 200 orphan children were invited to join the gathering.
The evening also marked the celebration of World Orphans Day, with organizers arranging games and distributing gift packages among the children.Participants described the event as a meaningful initiative that not only strengthened friendship between Türkiye and Pakistan, but also brought joy and support to orphan children through community engagement and compassion.
