ISLAMABAD: Romanian Ambassador to Pakistan has highlighted ongoing efforts to strengthen economic and trade relations between Pakistan and Romania, particularly through greater engagement between the business communities of the two countries.
In a recent meeting with a delegation of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), led by Vice President Tariq Khan Jadoon, the Romanian Ambassador discussed ways to further promote bilateral trade, investment and private-sector cooperation.The meeting also focused on preparations for an FPCCI business delegation’s visit to Romania in November, which will include visits to Bucharest, Brașov and Cluj-Napoca.
The planned visit will provide Pakistani and Romanian business communities an opportunity to develop new contacts, explore concrete investment opportunities and identify areas for mutually beneficial partnerships.The Ambassador noted that FPCCI, as the apex representative body of Pakistan’s business community, brings together important sectors including textiles, agriculture, machinery, cutlery and other industries.
The Embassy of Romania in Pakistan remains committed to enhancing bilateral trade and creating new opportunities for the private sectors of both countries.The Romanian Ambassador expressed optimism that ongoing dialogue would translate into increased business, investment and long-term partnerships between Pakistan and Romania.
