ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Tajikistan to Pakistan Yusuf Sharifzoda held a meeting with newly appointed Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan Irfan Shakiroglu Davudov in Islamabad on September 15, 2026.
During the meeting, the two ambassadors discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan, along with matters of mutual interest.
The diplomats also exchanged views on enhancing cooperation between the two countries’ embassies in Islamabad and coordinating their diplomatic activities in Pakistan.Both sides expressed their readiness to continue constructive cooperation and exchange experiences to further strengthen friendly relations and bilateral ties between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan.
