KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 17: Muhammad Nazir, a Pakistani professional originally from Gondal in Attock district, has been honoured with an international award in Singapore in recognition of his outstanding contribution to supply chain security, risk management, protective measures and business continuity.Currently based in Malaysia, Mr Nazir received the Supply Chain Resilience Star Award from TAPA APAC, a leading organisation in the Asia-Pacific region, in recognition of more than 18 years of professional experience in supply chain security, risk management, security planning and business continuity.
The award was presented during a conference and recognition ceremony held in Singapore focusing on supply chain security, resilience and sustainability. Experts and representatives from the industrial sector from various countries across the Asia-Pacific region attended the event.Mr Nazir was specially invited to Singapore for the event, where his professional services in securing supply chain operations, identifying and managing risks, strengthening security measures and improving management systems in line with international standards were recognised.He has more than 18 years of experience in security management, risk assessment, security planning, incident management, employee training and supply chain protection. He has worked with various international and industrial organisations in the United Arab Emirates and Malaysia, contributing to the implementation of security and management systems in accordance with international standards.
Speaking to Nisar Ali Khan, Chairman of the Pakistan Media Forum Malaysia, Mr Nazir said the international recognition was a matter of great happiness and pride for him.“I dedicate this honour to my native Attock and my beloved Pakistan. I have always tried to bring pride to my area and country through my hard work, professional expertise and services,” he said.Mr Nazir said the award was an important milestone in his professional career and that he would continue to utilise his experience and capabilities to contribute to the security, resilience and sustainability of supply chains.The international recognition of Muhammad Nazir, a son of Attock district from Gondal, in Singapore has been described as a source of pride for the people of Attock and Pakistan.
