ISLAMABAD: Chairman of the Pakistan Awami Quwat Party and Chairman of Rawal General & Dental Hospital and Rawal Foundation, Khaqan Waheed Khawaja, has said that his party strongly supports technical as well as Islamic education and aims to make Quranic education, including translation, compulsory up to Grade 12 as part of its manifesto.He expressed these views while addressing students during his visit to Al-Ilm Model School & Academy in Ittifaq Town, Kirpa, Islamabad.
Prominent social and political figure and Principal Madam Noreen Irshad welcomed Khaqan Waheed Khawaja on his arrival.During the visit, the Pakistan Awami Quwat Party chairman toured different sections of the institution and interacted with students, discussing matters related to education, skills development and their future prospects.The meeting also discussed potential cooperation in e-commerce and digital marketing, microfinance, and various welfare and development initiatives of the Rawal Foundation. Both sides expressed interest in working together on projects aimed at creating opportunities for young people and supporting community development.
Education, youth development, employment opportunities and social welfare were also discussed, with a focus on future collaborative initiatives.Khaqan Waheed Khawaja said that the Pakistan Awami Quwat Party was committed to public service, education, employment generation and the welfare of the people.The students also asked questions on various issues, which were answered by the chairman during the interactive session.
