MANILA, Sep 28 (IN): A parliamentary delegation of the Senate of Pakistan, led by Senator Abdul Qadir, has arrived in Manila, Philippines, to participate in a two-day international conference on fiscal governance and inclusive economic growth.The conference, titled “Independent Fiscal Institutions and the Management of Intergovernmental Fiscal Relations:
Towards Strengthening Economic and Inclusive Growth,” is being held on September 28–29, 2026.The Pakistani delegation also includes Senator Waqar Mehdi. The conference has brought together parliamentarians, heads of fiscal institutions, economists and policymakers from around the world to exchange views on strengthening fiscal governance, intergovernmental fiscal relations and promoting inclusive economic development.
