Islamabad: Romania’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Dan Stoenescu, has reaffirmed the strong and enduring relationship between Pakistan and Romania, highlighting shared cultural values and diplomatic cooperation between the two countries.Speaking at a ceremony held at Parliament House, the Ambassador appreciated Pakistan’s positive role in promoting peace and dialogue in the region. He emphasized that mutual understanding and diplomatic engagement remain key to achieving long-term stability.
Ambassador Stoenescu described the presentation of Pakistan’s National Anthem in a refined choral arrangement by the National Chamber Choir of Romania as a special cultural gift from the people of Romania to the people of Pakistan. He termed the gesture a reflection of the longstanding friendship and mutual respect between the two nations.He also expressed gratitude to the participants and acknowledged ongoing efforts to further strengthen bilateral relations, particularly through cultural exchange and parliamentary cooperation.The Ambassador reiterated Romania’s commitment to deepening its partnership with Pakistan and promoting stronger people-to-people connections as a foundation for future collaboration.
