ISLAMABAD, Apr 15 (APP): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday departed on official visits to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Türkiye, which will continue until April 18, 2026.According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office, the prime minister will visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Qatar in a bilateral context, where he will hold meetings with the respective leadership to discuss ongoing cooperation, as well as regional peace and security.During the third leg of his visit, the prime minister will travel to Türkiye to participate in the Fifth Antalya Diplomacy Forum. He is scheduled to address the Leaders’ Panel alongside other global leaders, presenting Pakistan’s perspective on key international issues.
On the sidelines of the forum, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to hold bilateral meetings with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and other world leaders.The statement noted that Pakistan’s participation in the forum underscores its commitment to constructive diplomacy, multilateral cooperation, and active engagement with the international community on issues of global significance.
The prime minister is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Syed Tariq Fatemi, and other senior officials.
