Vice Chancellor of the Health Services Academy (HSA), Dr. Shehzad Khan, called on the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, , to discuss matters related to health, education, research, and human resource development.During the meeting, Dr. Shehzad Khan briefed the Governor on the academic, research, and professional activities of the Health Services Academy and highlighted the institution’s contribution to strengthening public health in Pakistan.
He emphasized the need to enhance the healthcare system through modern research, innovation, and the development of a highly skilled workforce.Governor Faisal Karim Kundi appreciated the Academy’s services in the fields of health and higher education, stating that academic and research institutions play a vital role in addressing public health challenges and ensuring the provision of quality healthcare services to the public.
The two sides also discussed opportunities for greater collaboration, public health initiatives, and potential joint projects in the future. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation and institutional linkages to promote advancements in the health and education sectors.
