The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has granted No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to several national players for participation in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11, though their availability will be split due to Bangladesh’s upcoming tour of New Zealand.
According to reports, left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman has been released from the national T20 squad to feature in the PSL. Bangladesh is scheduled to play three ODIs on April 17, 20, and 23, followed by T20 internationals on April 27, 29, and May 2, with a preparatory camp beginning March 27.Other PSL-bound players, including Parvez Hossain, Sharaf Islam, Nahid Rana, Tanzid Hasan, and Rishad Hossain, will miss the national training camp while fulfilling their PSL commitments.
However, the board has ensured that most of them will return in time for the ODI series, which is crucial for World Cup qualification.Mustafizur’s NOC has been issued in two phases—March 26 to April 12 and April 24 to May 3—allowing him to skip the T20 series entirely. Meanwhile, Tanzid, Sharaf, Nahid, and Rishad have been permitted to participate in the PSL until April 12, while Parvez Hossain’s clearance extends until April 21.
