Islamabad, February 22: Syedal Khan Nasar has expressed profound grief over the death of noted poet Syed Salman Gilani, describing his passing as a significant loss to Urdu literature.
In a condolence message issued on Saturday, the Deputy Chairman said that Syed Salman Gilani was a distinguished poet, an accomplished Naat reciter and a respected prose writer. He acknowledged the late poet’s valuable contributions to the promotion of Urdu literature and devotional poetry, stating that his literary and religious services would be remembered for years to come.He said the void created by his demise would be deeply felt in literary circles, adding that his writings would continue to inspire future generations.
Syedal Khan Nasar also conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and strength for the family to bear the loss.
