Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Celebrates Eid-ul-Fitr with Troops in Kurram, Reaffirms Commitment to National Security

RAWALPINDI, Mar 21 (APP): Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited Kurram on Eid-ul-Fitr to celebrate the occasion with officers and troops deployed in the region.According to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, the Army Chief offered Eid prayers and prayed for Pakistan’s peace, stability, and prosperity.

During his interaction, he extended Eid greetings to the soldiers and praised their high morale, professionalism, and dedication to safeguarding the country. He also commended the bravery and sacrifices of the troops, particularly highlighting their role in Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq against terrorist networks.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s stance, the Field Marshal stressed that terrorist elements operating from across the border in Afghanistan would not be allowed to threaten national security, adding that Afghan soil must not be used for hostile activities against Pakistan.

He attributed operational successes to the sacrifices of martyrs and the unwavering resolve of the armed forces, reiterating their firm commitment to defending the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.Upon arrival, the Field Marshal was received by the Corps Commander Peshawar.
