India Clinch Historic Third T20 World Cup Title with 96-Run Win Over New Zealand

India created history by becoming the first men’s team to win the T20 World Cup three times and the first to secure back-to-back titles, defeating New Zealand by a commanding 96 runs in the final in Ahmedabad.After losing the toss, India posted a massive total of 255-5. Sanju Samson led the charge with a brilliant 89 off 46 balls, marking his third consecutive half-century of the tournament.

Opener Abhishek Sharma also played a blistering knock, scoring 52 off just 21 balls, including the fastest fifty of this year’s tournament in only 18 deliveries.In response, New Zealand struggled under pressure and were bowled out for 159 in 19 overs. Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah starred with the ball, taking 4 wickets for 15 runs, claiming all his wickets with clever slower deliveries as India sealed a dominant victory
