Ishaq Dar, Uzbekistan FM Discuss Regional Developments; Tashkent Backs Pakistan’s Peace Efforts

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation on Thursday with Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov to discuss the evolving situation in the Middle East and the broader region.During the call, FM Saidov lauded Pakistan’s proactive diplomatic role and reaffirmed Uzbekistan’s full support for initiatives aimed at promoting peace and stability.

He particularly appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in helping secure the initial two-week ceasefire.According to a statement issued by the DPM’s Office, both leaders expressed optimism that continued diplomatic engagement and coordinated efforts would contribute to sustainable peace and long-term stability in the region and beyond.
