
A delegation from the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) visited the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Pakistan office on February 17 as part of the 39th Senior Management Course.The delegation comprised 16 senior government officials participating in the course designed for prospective BPS-20 civil officers from various service groups. The visit aimed to provide participants with deeper insight into international development cooperation and institutional partnerships.During the session, Mr. Sugawara Takayuki, Senior Representative of JICA Pakistan, along with Dr. Haroon Rana, Chief Administrative/Program Manager, and Mr. Amir Bukhari, Chief Program Manager, delivered a detailed presentation highlighting JICA’s ongoing initiatives in Pakistan and its key cooperation frameworks across multiple sectors.
The presentation was followed by an interactive discussion, allowing participants to engage directly with JICA officials and explore avenues for enhanced collaboration and future joint initiatives.The visit concluded with a shared commitment to further strengthening the longstanding partnership between Japan and Pakistan through sustained institutional cooperation and knowledge exchange.
