Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held separate telephone conversations with the Foreign Ministers of Iran, Abbas Araghchi, and Egypt, Badr Abdelatty, to discuss the evolving regional situation and ongoing diplomatic efforts.During the calls, Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s support for initiatives aimed at de-escalation and emphasized the importance of resolving issues through dialogue and diplomacy

Both sides agreed to maintain close contact amid ongoing developments.These talks come as Pakistan positions itself as a neutral facilitator in regional tensions, particularly following recent US and Israeli strikes against Iranian targets. Islamabad has offered to host dialogue as part of its broader efforts to reduce hostilities and promote stability in the region.
