H.E. Harerimana Fatou participated in the opening ceremony of Pakistan Travel Mart held in Karachi. The event brought together around 15 national and international companies, providing a dynamic platform to showcase potential in tourism, hospitality, and trade sectors.The ceremony was graced by Nehal Hashmi, along with prominent stakeholders from the travel and business community, reflecting Pakistan’s growing focus on expanding its tourism industry and fostering international partnerships.The Rwanda High Commission actively participated in the event by setting up a dedicated stall, highlighting Rwanda’s diverse tourism offerings, including its scenic landscapes, wildlife experiences, and investment opportunities. The stall attracted significant attention from visitors, industry representatives, and policymakers interested in exploring collaboration between the two countries.During the exhibition, Sardar Yasir Ilyas and Aftab ur Rehman Rana, along with other senior officials, visited the Rwanda pavilion.
They expressed keen interest in strengthening bilateral cooperation in tourism development, knowledge exchange, and trade promotion.The participation of Rwanda in Pakistan Travel Mart underscores the growing ties between Pakistan and Rwanda, particularly in the fields of tourism and economic collaboration. The event served as an important platform to enhance mutual understanding, promote cultural exchange, and explore new avenues for partnership between the two countries.
