Pakistan Needs Constitutional Supremacy and People-Centric Policies: Syed Aman Shah

Quetta: Syed Aman Shah, Provincial Convener of Awaam Pakistan Party Balochistan, has stated that Pakistan is currently passing through a critical political, economic, and social phase. He said that the public is facing severe hardships due to rising inflation, unemployment, insecurity, and the lack of basic facilities, while the benefits of government policies have yet to reach the common citizen. He emphasized that the path to Pakistan’s progress and prosperity lies in political stability, the supremacy of the Constitution, the strengthening of democratic traditions and the equal enforcement of the rule of law.

He urged all political stakeholders to place the national interest above political differences and resolve their disputes through dialogue and democratic means to prevent the country from slipping into deeper political and economic crises.Syed Aman Shah further stated that soaring inflation, the continuous increase in electricity, gas, and petroleum prices, stagnating business activities, and rising unemployment among youth have placed immense financial and psychological pressure on the people. He called upon the government to adopt people-friendly economic policies, reduce the prices of essential commodities, create new employment opportunities, and provide effective relief to low-income and vulnerable segments of society. He noted that although Balochistan is rich in natural resources, its people continue to be deprived of basic necessities. He urged the government to take urgent and practical measures to improve education, healthcare, access to clean drinking water, infrastructure, employment opportunities, and the law and order situation in the province.

Such steps, he said, would help eliminate the sense of deprivation among the people and put Balochistan on the path to sustainable development.Syed Aman Shah reiterated that Awaam Pakistan Party firmly believes in democracy, constitutional supremacy, the rule of law, transparent accountability, the protection of public rights and national unity.

He said the party will support every positive initiative aimed at public welfare, economic stability, and national development, while continuing to raise its voice through constitutional and democratic means against any decision that undermines the public interest. He called upon the federal and provincial governments to provide immediate economic relief to the people, implement effective measures to control inflation, prioritize the completion of development projects in Balochistan, and take serious and practical steps to restore political harmony, economic stability, and public confidence across the country.
