Tajikistan is set to host the International Textile Forum Tajikistan 2026, bringing together global textile industry leaders, investors, policymakers, and experts to explore new opportunities for cooperation and growth.Organized by the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan with the support of the Government of Tajikistan and in partnership with the International Federation of Textile Manufacturers and other international organizations, the forum will serve as a key platform for dialogue, investment, and knowledge exchange.
The event will highlight the development potential of Tajikistan’s textile sector, focusing on attracting foreign investment, sharing international expertise, and promoting full-cycle textile projects — from cotton fiber production to finished goods. With nearly 98 percent of its electricity generated from renewable hydropower, along with long-term tax incentives, Tajikistan aims to position itself as an attractive destination for sustainable textile manufacturing and global investment.
The forum reflects Tajikistan’s vision of transforming its textile industry into a competitive player in the international market while strengthening regional and global cooperation.Earlier, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan had also enhanced cooperation in the textile sector, further highlighting the region’s growing potential in the industry.
