ISLAMABAD, October 29 (IN): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday extended heartfelt congratulations to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the government and the people of Türkiye on the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye.In a message posted on X, the prime minister said Türkiye’s proud history, rich heritage and remarkable republican journey reflected the resilience, courage and indomitable spirit of its people.
He highlighted the exceptional bond of brotherhood between Pakistan and Türkiye, rooted in shared history, mutual trust and unwavering solidarity.“Our enduring friendship, which continues to expand in scope and substance, transcends borders and generations, strengthened by our shared values and common aspirations,” he said.
The prime minister expressed confidence that the two brotherly nations would continue working together to promote peace and stability in the region and beyond.“May the eternal Pakistan–Türkiye brotherhood continue to grow from strength to strength!” he added.
