MARDAN: A graceful and memorable ceremony was organized at Government Higher Secondary School Baghdada, Mardan, on the occasion of the retirement of Chief Instructor of Physical Education, Sabir Ali. Teachers, students, friends, and distinguished personalities attended the event in large numbers. During the ceremony, rich tribute was paid to Sabir Ali’s long-standing educational, training, and professional services.
The event began with an opening speech by the Principal of the institution, Ashraf Ali. He highly praised Sabir Ali’s valuable contributions to the field of education and said that he had devoted his entire life to the training of students, maintaining discipline, and promoting sports activities. He remarked that sincere and dedicated teachers like him are valuable assets to any educational institution.On this occasion, students presented a beautiful and impressive tableau, which was greatly appreciated by the audience.
The students expressed their love and admiration for their teacher and paid heartfelt tribute to him.Addressing the ceremony, Senior Subject Specialist and close colleague Shah Faisal highlighted Sabir Ali’s personality, excellent character, professional abilities, and educational services in detail. He said that Sabir Ali was not only an outstanding teacher but also a compassionate mentor who always paid special attention to character building and positive guidance of students.The chief guest, Iftikhar Ahmad, retired Principal of Government Degree College Takht Bhai, termed Sabir Ali’s services in the field of education as commendable and said that teachers like him are a true asset to the nation. He added that the real success of a teacher lies in the success of his students, and Sabir Ali had guided countless students toward a brighter future.Other teachers, friends, and speakers at the event also shared their views and appreciated Sabir Ali’s good character, honesty, and services for the institution. Later, students and participants presented gifts to him, while commemorative photographs were also taken, making the atmosphere even more emotional and pleasant.
