Islamabad: Ambassador of Indonesia to Pakistan, H.E. Lt Gen (R) Chandra Warsenanto Sukotjo, called on Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, at Naval Headquarters in Islamabad.During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, regional maritime security, bilateral defence cooperation, and professional collaboration between the navies of both countries were discussed.
The Naval Chief highlighted the strong and longstanding friendly relations between Pakistan and Indonesia and emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation in maritime and defence sectors.The Indonesian Ambassador appreciated the role of the Pakistan Navy in maintaining regional peace and maritime security and expressed the desire to further strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries.
