Pakistan, Uzbekistan Agree to Strengthen Law Enforcement Cooperation

Bishkek, June 6, 2026: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with Uzbekistan’s Interior Minister Aziz Tashpulatov in Bishkek, where both sides discussed enhancing cooperation between their law enforcement agencies and expanding joint training initiatives.

During the meeting, the two ministers agreed to further strengthen collaboration between the interior ministries of Pakistan and Uzbekistan. To facilitate this cooperation, both sides decided to establish a joint working group that will focus on advancing bilateral engagement in areas of mutual interest.

The ministers reaffirmed their commitment to promoting closer security cooperation and capacity-building efforts between their respective law enforcement institutions.
