Minsk: Belarus has strongly condemned an attack on a civilian bus carrying Belarusian citizens, including children, in Russia’s Bryansk region, describing the incident as an act of terrorism against civilians.In an official statement, Belarusian authorities called on Ukraine to provide a comprehensive explanation regarding the attack.
The statement emphasized that targeting civilians, particularly children, is unacceptable and constitutes a serious violation of international norms.Belarus further noted that the tragic incident highlights the urgent need for strict adherence to safety protocols governing organized international travel.
Authorities stressed the importance of preventing travel to conflict zones, areas of active hostilities, and nearby regions, especially when children are involved.The government reiterated its commitment to ensuring the safety of its citizens and called for heightened caution in light of ongoing regional tensions.
