Mozyr District, April 24 — Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has stressed the need to accelerate the development of agricultural service enterprises to ensure their presence in every district.

Speaking at a seminar-conference on agricultural services and the repair and restoration of machinery, the president recalled that during the Soviet era, such service centers operated in every district. These enterprises were responsible for repairing agricultural machinery and vehicles, providing services like well drilling, and maintaining reserves of spare parts and fuel.He noted that during the transition to a market economy, many of these enterprises were dismantled. “That was the kind of market we had,” he said, adding that the country later recognized this as a mistake.Lukashenko emphasized that such centers are essential and insisted that agricultural service enterprises must be reestablished in every district.
