The High Commission of Pakistan made a vibrant mark at the inaugural Open Day hosted by the Asia-Europe Foundation in Singapore, proudly presenting the country’s rich cultural heritage to an international audience.
Visitors were offered an immersive experience highlighting Pakistan’s diversity, with a thoughtfully curated display featuring traditional attire, intricate truck art, high-quality sports goods, aromatic spices, premium rice, books, and tourism materials. The exhibition provided a compelling glimpse into Pakistan’s cultural richness, export potential, and tourism appeal.The Pakistan booth was inaugurated by High Commissioner and ASEF Governor Rabia Shafiq, who emphasized the role of cultural diplomacy in strengthening global ties and fostering mutual understanding. During the event, Ambassador Shafiq personally briefed ASEF Executive Director Beata Stoczyńska, along with fellow ambassadors and ASEF Governors, on the significance of the showcased items and Pakistan’s cultural traditions.
Ambassador Rabia Shafiq also expressed her appreciation to Ambassador Beata Stoczyńska for initiating the Open Day, describing it as a valuable platform for countries to celebrate and share their cultural vibrancy.The event brought together partners from Asia and Europe, promoting dialogue, cultural exchange, and stronger international connections through art and engagement
