Ashgabat to Host Turkmenistan Investment Forum 2026, Opening New Avenues for Global Investment Partnerships

ASHGABAT: Turkmenistan is set to host the Turkmenistan Investment Forum (TIF 2026) on October 1–2, 2026, at the prestigious “Yyldyz” Hotel in Ashgabat, bringing together international investors, business leaders, financial institutions, and government representatives to explore new opportunities for economic cooperation.Organized by the Ministry of Finance and Economy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, with the support of the Turkmen Congress, the forum will serve as a major platform to strengthen investment ties between Turkmenistan and global partners.

The two-day event will feature discussions on key sectors driving the country’s economic development, including energy and petrochemicals, transport connectivity, the Caspian region and Middle Corridor initiatives, digital economy, virtual assets, green energy projects, agriculture, tourism, urban development, and water resource management.A special focus of TIF 2026 will be placed on the role of artificial intelligence in the economy, with experts and industry leaders participating in a dedicated panel discussion on how emerging technologies are transforming investment opportunities and shaping the future economic landscape.

Participants will also have the opportunity to hold direct meetings with Turkmen government officials, attend practical sessions on the legal and financial frameworks for investment projects, and engage with representatives of international financial institutions and the global business community.The forum is expected to further enhance Turkmenistan’s position as an attractive destination for foreign investment and promote stronger international economic partnerships.
