Islamabad (Special Correspondent): The Government of Pakistan has approved the conferment of the prestigious Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Medal of Excellence) on Pakistan Army officer Colonel Shahida Javed, in recognition of her distinguished services.
The award was approved by President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari on the recommendation submitted by General Headquarters (GHQ). Colonel Shahida Javed has served in important positions at various Army and Air Force medical institutions, including CMH, PAF Hospital and Military Hospital Rawalpindi, as well as other military healthcare establishments.She is currently serving at a military hospital in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where she continues to perform her professional duties with dedication and commitment.
Colonel Shahida Javed was commissioned into the Pakistan Army in 1994 and has rendered decades of dedicated service in the medical field.The announcement of the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz for Colonel Shahida Javed was warmly welcomed by her family, relatives and well-wishers, who congratulated her and paid tribute to her remarkable services and dedication to the country.
