ISLAMABAD, October 10, 2026: Gilgit-Baltistan Education Minister Aman Ali Amir has pledged full support from his ministry and the Gilgit-Baltistan government for Pakistan Sweet Home, praising the institution’s outstanding services for orphaned and underprivileged children.During his visit to Pakistan Sweet Home in Islamabad, the minister met with its patron-in-chief, Zamurrad Khan (Hilal-e-Imtiaz), and interacted with children from Gilgit-Baltistan and other parts of the country residing and studying at the institution.Appreciating the organisation’s dedicated efforts for vulnerable children, Aman Ali Amir said Pakistan Sweet Home had established an exemplary model of education, care and upbringing that other institutions could follow. He assured the organisation of full cooperation from his ministry and the Gilgit-Baltistan government to support its welfare initiatives.The minister also congratulated 100 children of Pakistan Sweet Home on achieving A+ grades, commending the institution for maintaining high educational standards and providing a positive environment for learning and personal development.
Speaking on the occasion, Zamurrad Khan thanked the minister for visiting Pakistan Sweet Home and recognising its contributions to society. He said children from all regions of Pakistan were living at the institution and that no compromise was made on their education, training or overall development.He added that the children were receiving education at some of the country’s leading educational institutions to help them become confident, capable and responsible citizens.Zamurrad Khan further highlighted the expanding scope of Pakistan Sweet Home’s welfare services for underprivileged and marginalised communities.
In addition to providing care and education to orphaned children, the organisation offers a range of initiatives, including free meals through its free Dastarkhwan, a free blood bank, free ambulance services, burial assistance, a rehabilitation centre and a cadet college, along with other welfare facilities.The visit highlighted the importance of cooperation between government institutions and welfare organisations in promoting education, supporting vulnerable children and creating better opportunities for disadvantaged communities across Pakistan.
