RAWALPINDI: A grand public rally was organized at Glass Factory Chowk under the supervision of Hamid Shah to mark Defence Day of Pakistan and express solidarity with the country’s armed forces. A large number of people from different sections of society participated in the gathering.The rally was addressed by Senator Nasir Butt, Pakistan Muslim League (N) Punjab Vice President Sheikh Arsalan Hafeez, former candidate for the Provincial Assembly Sajjad Khan, PML-N Rawalpindi Vice President Mirza Mansoor, and senior party member Sheikh Tanveer.
In their speeches, the speakers paid rich tribute to the courage, sacrifices and unwavering commitment of the Pakistan Armed Forces in defending the country. They emphasized the importance of national unity and called upon the nation to remain united and steadfast for the defence and sovereignty of Pakistan.
The participants also expressed their support for the armed forces and raised enthusiastic slogans in their honour, reflecting a strong spirit of patriotism and national solidarity.
