More than 12.4 million voters eligible as Foreign Ministry finalizes arrangements for citizens abroad
ASTANA: Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Feb. 23 released a comprehensive list of overseas polling stations for the upcoming constitutional referendum scheduled for March 15, enabling citizens residing abroad to participate in the vote.According to the ministry, polling will be organized at Kazakhstan’s embassies and consulates general across 62 countries.
These include diplomatic missions in Austria, Belgium, China, France, Germany, Italy, Malaysia, Russia, the United States, and several other nations.The move aims to ensure broad participation of Kazakh citizens living overseas in the key constitutional process.Officials estimate that more than 12.4 million voters will be eligible to cast their ballots in the nationwide referendum.
