ISLAMABAD, Jul 31: The Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Pakistan celebrated the 27th anniversary of King Mohammed VI’s accession to the Throne with a ceremony in Islamabad, highlighting the country’s progress and the strong bilateral friendship between Morocco and Pakistan.Speaking on the occasion, Moroccan Ambassador Mohamed Karmoune said that under the leadership of King Mohammed VI, Morocco has achieved remarkable progress across key sectors, including industry, tourism, renewable energy, and manufacturing.
He noted that Morocco has become Africa’s leading automobile exporter, producing nearly one million vehicles annually, while its aviation and clean energy sectors continue to expand. The ambassador also said the country welcomed a record 20 million tourists in 2025, reflecting its growing global appeal.He attributed these achievements to the King’s forward-looking vision and strategic policies aimed at sustainable economic growth and national development.
