Islamabad () MUSLIM Institute organized a Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference, bringing together prominent religious scholars, academics, intellectuals, and distinguished personalities.The speakers emphasized that the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ provided the finest guidance for humanity in every sphere of life.
They noted that, at a time when the world is witnessing increasing intolerance, moral challenges, and various forms of conflict and division, there is a greater need than ever to seek guidance from the life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.The speakers also highlighted that approximately 200 million people around the world bear the name Muhammad, making it one of the most widely used names globally.They further stated that the Seerat-e-Tayyiba ﷺ is not merely a subject of the past, but continues to serve as one of the most comprehensive and practical sources of guidance for human life today.
Following the conference, a Naatia Mushaira was also held, during which renowned poets presented devotional poetry in praise of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.The conference was addressed by Saeed Ahmad Taj, Chairman of the Board of Management, Gujranwala Medical College and Allied Teaching Hospital; Professor Dr. Akram Waraich, Principal of Government Postgraduate College, Gujranwala; and Afrasiab Mehdi Hashmi Qureshi, former ambassador and author. Renowned writer and researcher Dr. Qaisra Alvi, President of the Pakistan Federation of University Women, also attended the conference.
