Pakistan and Belarus have reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral defence ties, with a particular focus on military cooperation, joint training, and defence industry collaboration.According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a high-level Belarusian defence delegation led by Chief of the General Staff Major General Pavel Nikolayevich called on Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu.
During the meeting, both sides discussed a wide range of issues related to defence cooperation and the regional security environment. They reiterated their shared resolve to deepen defence relations and enhance collaboration in areas of mutual interest.The two sides agreed to expand joint training programmes, military exercises, and technical cooperation while emphasizing the importance of promoting partnerships in the defence industry.
Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu reaffirmed Pakistan Air Force’s commitment to broadening bilateral military cooperation with Belarus and strengthening institutional links between the armed forces of the two countries.The ISPR stated that the Belarusian delegation highly appreciated the Pakistan Air Force’s operational preparedness, professionalism, and combat capabilities. The delegation also praised the PAF’s advancements in modern technology and its growing self-reliance in the defence sector.The Belarusian side expressed its commitment to further enhancing defence cooperation with Pakistan, with both countries agreeing to expand collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
