Pakistan Day and Eid Milan Celebrated at Pakistan Embassy in Senegal Led by Ambassador Saima Sayed

The Pakistani Embassy in Senegal hosted a vibrant and inclusive celebration marking both Pakistan Day and Eid al-Fitr, bringing together members of the Pakistani diaspora and Senegalese community in a spirit of unity and goodwill.In collaboration with Association Vie Santé Éducation (AVISE), the embassy invited around 80 children from the Serigne Saliou orphanage in Kounoune to join the celebrations. The young guests enjoyed a lively program featuring games and activities alongside diplomatic staff and Pakistani families.

The initiative was widely appreciated for promoting compassion, inclusivity, and cultural exchange.Speaking at the event, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Senegal, Saima Sayed, highlighted the significance of both occasions. She noted that Pakistan Day symbolizes national pride and unity, while Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan and serves as a time to express gratitude and extend generosity to those in need.“It is a day that brings people together around the values of solidarity and compassion,” she said, emphasizing the importance of sharing these moments with underprivileged children.

The joint celebration reflected the embassy’s commitment to strengthening community ties and promoting the core values of unity, generosity, and mutual respect.
