Peshawar: Ameer of the International Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Movement, District Mardan, Maulana Bilal Bacha, addressed the annual Khatm-ul-Quran ceremony as the chief guest at Masjid Quba, Faqir Bin New Baghdada, Mardan. In his speech, he said that following the teachings of the Holy Quran is the key to success in this world and the Hereafter.He stated that religious seminaries play a vital role in the moral reform of society, character-building of the younger generation, and the promotion of Islamic values. Therefore, he urged parents to pay special attention to the religious and moral upbringing of their children.The ceremony was also addressed by Maulana Arshad, the head of Madrasa Quba.
Congratulating the students who completed the recitation of the Holy Quran, he said that acquiring the knowledge of the Quran is a great blessing and that remaining steadfast in its teachings is the responsibility of every Muslim.At the conclusion of the ceremony, prizes and certificates were distributed among the students who completed the Khatm-ul-Quran as well as those who secured outstanding positions in the Nazra (Quran reading) Department. A large number of teachers, parents, local dignitaries, and students attended the event. They congratulated the successful students and prayed for their continued success and bright future.
