ISLAMABAD (IN): Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has conferred a special award on Shaheryar Memon, who served as a focal person for the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, in recognition of his contributions towards empowering young people, particularly aspiring entrepreneurs.
Chairman Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan was also present at the ceremony.The award recognizes Shehryar Memon’s efforts in guiding young people, promoting entrepreneurial skills and creating opportunities for the country’s youth.Speaking after receiving the award, Shehryar Memon said being recognized by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif as a self-made entrepreneur was a great honour for him. He said the recognition of his services as a focal person for the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme reflected appreciation for his hard work, vision and commitment.Memon expressed his gratitude for the honour and pledged to continue working to create greater opportunities for young people.
He said Pakistan’s youth are the country’s most valuable asset and their potential must be harnessed to strengthen the national economy and accelerate development.He reaffirmed his commitment to empowering young entrepreneurs, introducing them to modern business opportunities and helping them realize their potential.“Bringing young people forward as job creators rather than job seekers is the need of the hour,” Memon said, adding that a strong entrepreneurial youth generation could not only secure a better future for itself but also play a key role in strengthening Pakistan’s economy and building a prosperous country.
He thanked Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and the leadership of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, saying the award was not merely an honour but also a source of renewed motivation to work harder for the empowerment and advancement of Pakistan’s youth.Under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, efforts are continuing to provide young people with opportunities in education, skills development, employment, entrepreneurship and other fields.
