ISLAMABAD (IN): Chairman of the Pakistan Awami Quwat Party and Chairman of Rawal General & Dental Hospital and Rawal Foundation, Khaqan Waheed Khawaja, has said that his party is rapidly expanding at the grassroots level because it is actively undertaking and delivering the public-oriented work that governments are expected to perform.He expressed these views during a meeting with former Member of the National Assembly from Burewala, Asghar Ali Jutt, at his office in Islamabad.
During the meeting, Asghar Ali Jutt briefed Khaqan Waheed Khawaja about his political journey and community background. He said that they were also looking for a platform through which genuine and meaningful public service could be ensured.Khaqan Waheed Khawaja gave him a detailed briefing on the party’s policies, manifesto, political narrative and previous performance. Asghar Ali Jutt expressed satisfaction with the party’s vision and approach.Speaking on the occasion, Khaqan Waheed Khawaja said the Pakistan Awami Quwat Party was working in key areas including education, technical education, employment, e-commerce and local-level development.
He said these initiatives represented the commitment his party had made to the people when it first contested the 2024 general elections.“We are fulfilling the commitments we made to the people,” he said, adding that while many elected representatives may not be visible in their constituencies, his party has remained active and visible among the people since election day.He further said that the party was not merely seeking visibility but was also delivering practical initiatives that formed part of its manifesto.“We understand the basic problems of the people and are working to address them at the grassroots level,” Khaqan Waheed Khawaja said.
