Rawalpindi: A delegation of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) called on City Police Officer (CPO) Rawalpindi, Hasan Mushtaq Sukhera, at his office to congratulate him on assuming his new responsibilities as the City Police Officer.During the meeting, both sides held a detailed discussion on the overall law and order situation in Rawalpindi, traffic management, challenges faced by the business community, and the effective implementation of the Safe City Project.
The RCCI delegation emphasized that a secure and peaceful business environment is essential for promoting economic activity and attracting investment. They also highlighted that improved traffic planning and the use of modern surveillance systems would significantly facilitate both citizens and the business community.City Police Officer Hasan Mushtaq Sukhera thanked the RCCI delegation for the visit and appreciated the Chamber’s constructive engagement.
He assured the delegation that Rawalpindi Police remains fully committed to ensuring the safety and security of citizens and the business community, maintaining law and order, improving traffic flow, and further strengthening the effectiveness of the Safe City Project by utilizing all available resources.
The delegation was led by RCCI Acting President Khalid Farooq Qazi and included Group Leader and Former President Sohail Altaf, Vice President Fahad Barlas, former presidents Dr. Hassan Sarosh, Malik Shahid Saleem, Nadeem A. Rauf, Saqib Rafiq, and Chairman RCCI Chamber Police Coordination Committee Aslam Naqash.Speaking on the occasion, RCCI Acting President Khalid Farooq Qazi said that RCCI firmly believes in close collaboration with law enforcement agencies and that joint efforts are crucial to addressing the concerns of the business community. He also invited the City Police Officer to visit the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry for an interactive session with members.
