Islamabad (Bureau Chief Report): Regional Police Officer (RPO) Dera Ismail Khan, Ghulam Mubashir Maken, visited the newly constructed Police Station Paharpur in Tehsil Paharpur and conducted a detailed inspection of the ongoing construction work and public facilities.According to details, RPO Ghulam Mubashir Maken visited Police Station Paharpur along with DPO Dera Ziauddin Ahmed and SP Paharpur Iqbal Khan.During the visit, the RPO inspected various sections of the police station and reviewed the ongoing construction work, quality of the building, facilities available for police personnel, and areas designated for citizens. The concerned officers briefed the RPO in detail about the construction of the police station, its different sections, and the progress of the ongoing work.Ghulam Mubashir Maken closely reviewed the construction work and directed the concerned officers to ensure that all work is completed according to the prescribed standards and quality requirements.
He also instructed them to avoid any unnecessary delay in completing the project.The RPO emphasized that, keeping in view the requirements of modern policing, it is essential to provide police personnel with a better working environment and ensure dignified, safe, and easy access for citizens. He said that a police station is not merely a center for official police activities but also an important institution for the prompt resolution of public complaints and the provision of justice and protection.He directed the officers to prioritize public facilities at the new police station, including a waiting area, complaint registration facilities, and appropriate arrangements for women and other citizens.
He stressed that Police Station Paharpur should serve as an effective and citizen-friendly police center. He further instructed that construction supervision should remain effective, the quality of construction materials must be ensured, and all related work should be completed within the stipulated timeframe.
RPO Ghulam Mubashir Maken said that providing police officers and personnel with a better working environment and delivering quality police services to citizens are among the department’s key priorities. He added that police stations equipped with modern facilities not only enhance the operational efficiency of the police but also strengthen public trust and cooperation between the police and citizens.At the conclusion of the visit, the RPO Dera issued clear instructions to the concerned officers regarding the timely completion of the construction work, maintenance of quality standards, and ensuring all necessary public facilities.
