Uzbekistan, Algeria Boost Cooperation with Visa-Free and Academic Agreements

Uzbekistan and Algeria have signed a series of important agreements aimed at deepening bilateral ties and enhancing cooperation across diplomatic channels.Among the key documents signed was an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria granting mutual visa exemption for holders of diplomatic passports.

This step is expected to facilitate smoother official exchanges and strengthen government-to-government engagement.In addition, a Memorandum of Understanding was concluded between the Diplomatic Academy under the University of World Economy and Diplomacy of Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations under Algeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The agreement focuses on expanding collaboration in diplomatic education and professional training.

These newly signed documents establish a solid legal framework for advancing political dialogue, broadening diplomatic relations, and fostering cooperation in the development of diplomatic personnel between the two countries.The agreements reflect a shared commitment by both nations to reinforce their partnership and explore new avenues of collaboration on the international stage
