TASHKENT: Uzbekistan is strengthening its position as an emerging regional hub for international education, with more than 21,000 foreign nationals arriving in the country for study during January–June 2026, according to the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.A total of 21,042 foreign nationals arrived in Uzbekistan for educational purposes during the first six months of 2026, marking an increase of 11,500 people compared with the same period of 2025. The figure represents a significant 2.2-fold year-on-year increase, reflecting the country’s growing attractiveness among students from across the region and beyond.
